I grew up in Michigan, completing schooling through college (Education Major at Oakland University) before I moved down to beautiful Florida to start my career in education. I landed here in the summer of 2006, teaching at Safety Harbor MS. While teaching I pursued my Masters in Educational Leadership and after 7 years in the classroom, transitioned to Assistant Principal at Safety Harbor. I was in the AP role there for 10 years, before moving to Pinellas Park MS in the same role. In January of 2025, I took over as Principal at Tarpon Springs MS and served in that role until just recently, as I very happily moved over to Paul B.
On a personal level, I have 3 kids of my own (12, soon to be 14 and 17) and two stepchildren (17 and 27) with my wife. We live in Westchase with our two dogs and love all the family escapes Florida has to offer. I am a huge sports fan (still am loyal to my Michigan sports teams) and my family and I are also avid movie goers. Outside of entertainment, our kids keep us busy on nights and weekends with various activities, baseball being the most time consuming (in a good way).
